Colorado’s longest lift-served mountain bike season
Mountain biking has a new home in Clear Creek.
More trails. More season. Less time getting here.
Clear Creek brings purpose-built descents, historic railroad grades, high-country roads and Colorado’s longest lift-served mountain bike season closer to Denver.
One county. A lot of ways to ride.
Mountain biking in Clear Creek can be fast, technical and built around the next descent. It can also be a slow ride beside the creek, a climb through the aspens or an old railroad grade leading toward places silver once paid for.
Ride above Idaho Springs. Follow historic routes from Silver Plume. Climb toward the Continental Divide near Empire. Start closer to Denver at Floyd Hill.
You do not have to ride everything. That is a good reason to come back.
For Experienced Riders
Virginia Canyon Mountain Park includes steep, technical terrain, drops, jumps, and challenging lines designed for experienced mountain bikers. Beginners should choose another trail system until they have more experience riding advanced terrain. Check current trail ratings, conditions, and closures before visiting.
