The Clear Creek County Tourism Bureau (CCCTB) is gathering feedback from residents, businesses, and visitors as part of our participation in the Colorado Tourism Office's Destination Blueprint Program. Why We're Asking for Your Input
Clear Creek County is home to historic mountain towns, outdoor recreation, locally owned businesses, and communities with their own distinct character. With easy access from the Front Range, our area welcomes visitors throughout the year. We also recognize that tourism brings challenges. From busy trails and parking concerns to seasonal visitation and the impacts on our communities, there are important conversations to be had about how we welcome visitors while protecting what makes this area special.
CCCTB wants to better understand those experiences and hear directly from the people who know Clear Creek County best. Your feedback will help identify opportunities for visitor education, responsible recreation, local business promotion, community events, and future tourism initiatives.
What's the Destination Blueprint Program?
Through the Colorado Tourism Office's Destination Blueprint Program, CCCTB is working with tourism planning professionals to evaluate our current efforts and establish priorities for the years ahead. The process brings together community feedback, tourism data, and local stakeholder perspectives to develop a roadmap that reflects the needs of Clear Creek County. The survey is one of the first steps. What we learn will help inform future discussions, planning, and decisions about where CCCTB focuses its resources.
We Want to Hear From Across the County
Every community experiences tourism differently. From Idaho Springs and Empire to Silver Plume, Dumont, Downieville, Lawson, St. Mary's, and our surrounding areas, those perspectives are important to the planning process.
We encourage residents, business owners, employees, community organizations, and visitors to participate.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, and participants have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win a $200 Amazon gift card.
